What standard of building work can I expect?

regener8 completes building work to the British Standard 8000 Series – Workmanship on Building Sites and various other professional trade standards.

Why is regener8 different from other building companies?

regener8 recognises the importance of effective project management. Our Project Managers co-ordinate and manage all aspects of our projects, maintaining close control over site activities, personnel, sub-contractors and liaison with professional associates and Building Control.

What service can I expect?

regener8 is dedicated to understanding client’s needs and expectations. We strive to work closely with our clients, their agents and other professionals involved in the project. We operate a highly organised operation and endeavour to maintain close communication with our clients.

Who will be involved in my project?

The scale of the project usually dictates the range of professional services required. Larger projects may involve an architect, surveyor, structural engineer, building inspector and regener8 as main contractor.

In addition, there may be a Contract Administrator appointed by the client to oversee the project on the client’s behalf. The professions involved in the project will be determined between the client and regener8 early in the process.

How will my project be planned and specified?

Depending on the scale and complexity of the project there will usually be a surveyor, structural engineer and architect who will turn the client’s brief into technical specifications and plans. Plans will then be approved by a Building Control to ensure the proposed works will comply with current Building Regulations.

How will my project be managed?

The project will be managed by a regener8 Project Manager. The Project Manager’s role is to ensure the project is managed from pre-contract stage through all works to completion and handover. We utilise a tried and tested system to programme and control works within an agreed timeframe allowing each project to be delivered without being affected by our other commitments. 

When will funding be required by regener8?

Prior to projects commencing on site, regener8 usually receives an agreed amount of advance funds from the client. This initial amount will depend on the overall value of the project. Further payments will be requested at stages to be agreed in the project contract.

What if I need to raise issues concerning the project?

At any stage of the project you can contact us, and we will be pleased to address your enquiry. regener8’s appeal is our ability to maintain regular and effective communication with our clients.

What guarantee do I get for the work carried out?

regener8 offers a 12-month limited defects liability period which covers most of the work carried out under contract. Additional warranties may apply for installations such as boilers and fixed electrical appliances.

How do I start a discussion with regener8?

We will be pleased to hold an informal discussion to establish the project brief and pre-contract works required. Following an invitation to quote for works, we will prepare a quote and contract for the client’s consideration.
